Chiropractic Continuing Education at the North Pole

On July 12 and 13th 2013 Kinesio Taping Association has planned a Fundamentals and Advanced taping course (KT1 & KT2) in North Pole Alaska, just minutes from Fairbanks.

Day one, KT1, offers 8 hours of Chiropractic Continuing Education and hands on introduction to the Kinesio Taping Method. Chiropractors will learn screening, application to the upper and lower body, how to relax overused muscles, stimulate weak muscles, along with decrease pain and pain.

Day 2, KT2, adds to the information from KT1 plus introduces the six Corrective Techniques:(Mechanical, Functional, Space, Fascia, Ligament/Tendon, and Lymphatic. Participation will receive 8 more hours of Chiropractic Continuing Education along with hands on application.

Each attending Chiropractor will be supplied with 2 full-color Kinesio Taping® Workbooks (KT1 Workbook 1 & KT2 Correctional Techniques and Clinical Applications Workbook 2), plus a 60 day membership to the Kinesio Taping® Association which includes access to a reference database.

If you decided to attend as a destination trip, don’t expect to see a white north pole, expect an average temperature with a high of 73F and low around 52F. This seminar will be located at North Pole Physical Therapy at 157 Lewis Street in North Pole Alaska 99705. Special Red and White striped Kinesio Tape will be provided for this special seminar (just kidding).

The Alaskan town of North Pole, located 15 miles west of Fairbanks, lives up to its name. The festive city contains red and white striped light poles, the world's largest fiberglass statue of Santa Claus, numerous shops and many attractions dedicated to Old Saint Nick traditions. The local post office postmarks thousands of holiday greeting cards and receives hundreds of thousands of letters to Santa Claus every year.
